The Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK is the professional organisation for Dance Movement Psychotherapists working in the UK
Dance Movement Psychotherapy (DMP) is a relational process in which client(s) and therapist use body movement and dance as an instrument of communication during the therapy process. ADMP UK serves to uphold professional standards within the field of Dance Movement Psychotherapy, overseeing the professional codes of conduct for the profession. This also involves supporting the development of DMP in the UK and internationally, fostering communication among Dance Movement Psychotherapists, and promoting the use of DMP throughout the UK and abroad.
